Saturday. Climbing Cinque
Terre. A 7:00 AM bus departure was warmly welcomed by 24 Boston College
Students on a Saturday morning. Shocking, but not as much when placed in the
context that it was for a trip to Cinque Terre. These “five lands” are one of
the most beautiful places in Italy. We had the pleasure of traveling
throughout three of the towns, in the company of many others on a trip designed
by Bus2Alps. Our two hour hike was fueled by the beauty of the countryside and
some incredible pesto pizza. The hike was subsequently rewarded by a relaxing
time on the beach, complete with blue skies and a pina colada.
